Polling Troubles in Fulton County

During the most critical time of the voting, many locations in Georgia where one can vote ran out of provisional ballots to give out.  “There are lots of reports of folks who registered on time but are not in the system, reports of places that ran out of provisional ballots, reports of not having let people cast provisional ballots." Obviously this became a major problem for the people who wanted to vote, because if they wanted to vote, they would have to wait "three to four" hours to receive their provisional ballots.

The places where they ran out were urban schools in downtown Atlanta are looking to become charter schools. Although, I do feel that charter schools are a great way to get private funding, the schools that do become charter in rural areas, aren't going to get the proper funding, exceptional teachers and the right guidance. You can already see the lack of organization in these schools by the way they were unprepared to provide adequate amounts of provisional ballots to distribute. It's apparent that these schools that are turning charter won't get very far in helping students get a better education, and a better future if they can't even provide the required ballots to waiting voters. I do hope that without the ability to become a charter school, the schools will get proper public funding from taxes that we as Georgians are made to pay.
