Water in to wine...I mean...Beer in to water

Many of us have read or heard of the story of Jesus turning water into wine. It was a renowned miracle.   But now, Cartersville’s Anheuser-Busch plant is creating a "miracle" of their own by switching over one of its lines from producing cans of beer to producing cans of clean drinking water for victims of "Frankenstorm" Sandy. Okay, so they are not actually chemically "changing" beer to water, but they are basically giving up their potential profit to help the people effected by the havoc inflicted by Sandy. Company officials said the federal government does not pay for the water. They said Anheuser-Busch donates the cans free of charge, something they said the company has done for more than a hundred years.

Many people have been left without food, water, or shelter by this awful storm. It's so great to see people helping the victims who have been devastated and left without basic needs such as water. “There’s people up there in need,” said Plant Operations Manager Scott Vail. “We feel for them. I’m actually from New Jersey, so I have a little deeper meaning for me personally, so we understand what those people are going through.” One plant made a HUGE difference in many peoples lives. Thank God for companies like the Cartersville’s Anheuser-Busch plant, without them many victims would not have the necessity of fresh drinking water. These victims are now one step closer to surviving this natural disaster, thanks to the altruistic act of a company providing fresh drinking water.
