What has society come to? Bitting someobodys ear off is a horrifying and drastic action to take, when in a fight. Nontheless with your father-in-law. A man in georgia got in a fight with his wife over a very petty topic. She supposedly made another man, other than her husband, a sandwich at a party. They started fighting and after a while the father got invloved as well, to defend his daughter. When it was the son and father in law the son, Johnatan Collins punched his father-in-law, Fredrick Harrison, in the face and bit part of his ear off. Harrison was taken to Medical College of Georgia Hospital in order to get his ear sown back on. Collins was then taken to jail on account of aggrevated battery.
This is an important article, becasue it shows just how quickly peoples anger can escalate. Also, it proves to people that violent actions can be taken from anybody and cause physcial harm. It is absurd to me that someone could take a petty arguemnt so far. What Collins did was absoultely barbaric and vile. The act of bitting your teeth into somebodys skin regardless of the siuataion is revolting. People should stick to verbal fights and if it does escalated to physical, then punching somebody is a much more logical and sanitary option than taking sombodys body parts off, with your mouth.
This case is just like the Mike Tyson incident in wrestling. Around fifteen years ago, Tyson fought his apponent, Evander Holyfield. This was set up to be a great match, until in the third round, after losing the first two, Tyson takes out his mouthguard and bites Holyfield's ear off. People were convinced he was crazy and he had to undergo lots of psychotherapy. Therefore with this article, and Tyson's situation it is proven that there are better ways to fight than your teeth.
