Atlanta: The Atlantis of Large Housing and Transportation Costs

As we all know, Atlanta is a large city with many companies. Most residents of the Atlanta area work at these companies in buildings located in the city. Your parents might drive down to Atlanta everyday for work. If they do, you might have heard them discuss the cost of driving to and from the city, especially in traffic. It's not surprising since Atlanta is known as one of the top cities with major traffic.

The Atlanta Business Journal has reported that transportation and housing costs in Atlanta are taking out a larger percentage of residents' incomes. You should ask your parents if this is true for them. For those whose parents say that it is, this report might interest your parents. Atlanta is becoming more expensive while income is not catching up with the costs. However, this might not be a problem for Johns Creekers.

The report also says that major cities are experiencing this, so Atlanta isn't alone. This, most likely, is a national economical issue. It might also become the center of discussion in the next presidential debate: how to raise incomes to catch up with housing and transportation costs. It probably won't, though.
