Recently in surrounding public schools around the city of Johns Creek, public high schools have been posting videos committing on each others football teams. Johns Creek High School, made a video about their football with Chattahoochee High School. That week Johns Creek was victorious in their match against Hooch. Now, Alpharetta High School, another school in Fulton County, posted a video about their game on October 26. Now Chattahoochee posted a response video to both of the videos commenting on them.
This event matters, because all of the high schools don't want to be embarrassed in public. It is basically for bragging rights. These videos hype up all of the kids the week of the game, and no one can keep their minds off of it. One of good friends, who attends Chattahoochee High School, is very upset with the result that occurred on the Johns Creek and Chattahoochee game. However, I think that Alpharetta was wasting there time with this video, because they will not be able beat Hooch in my opinion. They relate to real life situations that deal with competition. However, all of these attempts to win over the competition were classless. They were typical high school moves. For example in the real world, people don't make fun of other people publicly. It is just plain disrespectful. However, it makes for great entertainment. I hear a lot of people in the hall singing it quietly to themselves. These videos were influenced by a video made by Grayson High School in Gwinnett County dissing their rivals Brookwood. I believe they change everyone's point of view toward the game, and it makes it suspenseful. If your team loses, you will have to hear about for the entirety of the year, so it makes it really competitive. It is all about fun though, that is what we need to remember. no to get too carried away with these deeds.
